Encad has implemented a new improved ink cartridge assembly that is cleaner and easier to install. The new 600-dpi cartridges come with a septum tube already installed. The septum tube is connected to the cartridge lid, which allows users to insert the tube into the ink line valve and start printing. It’s that easy. And it’s clean!

The new cartridge improves jetting reliability so you don’t have to worry about a deprime occurrence, even during long print jobs. This is achieved through a new ink filling process together with increased ink volume in the cartridge. To improve shipping reliability and shelf life, the cartridges are vacuum-packed in an aluminum foil bag.

Features

The new 600-dpi cartridges come with a septum tube already installed. The septum tube is connected to the cartridge lid, which allows users to insert the tube into the ink line valve and start printing. It’s that easy. And it’s clean. Each cartridge is shipped with backpressure enabling self-priming and improving the out-of-box prime. Cartridges are designed to allow customers at up to 8,000 ft elevation to successfully install a cartridge without having to use an EasyPrime, assuming that the ink line is fully primed as required.

The jetting reliability of this new cartridge is also improved so customers don’t have to worry about a deprime occurrence, especially during long plots. This is achieved through a new ink filling process together with increased ink volume inside of the cartridge. To improve shipping reliability and shelf life all cartridges are vacuum packed in an aluminum foil bag.

Compatibility Information

The new “plug & play” ink cartridge assembly works on all ENCAD NOVAJET 600, 700, and 800 Series printers. However, on the newer models including the NOVAJET 736, 750, 850 and 880 you gain maximum benefit from the new design. Because the cartridge is shipped with backpressure, no additional priming is required if there is already ink in the lines. New and original ink cartridges may be used together in the same ink set configuration.
