“PLUG & PLAY”
INK CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY
 Encad
has implemented an improved ink cartridge
assembly that is cleaner and easier
to install. The new 600-dpi cartridges
come with a septum tube already installed.
The septum tube is connected to the
cartridge lid, which allows you to
insert the tube into the ink line
valve and start printing. It’s
that easy. And it’s clean.
The new cartridge improves
jetting reliability so you don’t
have to worry about a deprime occurrence,
even during long print jobs. This
is achieved through a new patented
ink-filling process together with
increased ink volume in the cartridge.
Each cartridge is pre-primed
with 25ml of ink, up from 20ml. To
improve shipping reliability and shelf
life, the cartridges are vacuum-packed
in an aluminum foil bag.

Compatibility Information
The new “plug & play”
ink cartridge assembly works on all
ENCAD NovaJet 600, 700, and 800 Series
printers. However, on the newer models
including the NovaJet 736, 750, 850
and 880 you gain maximum benefit from
the new design. Because the cartridge
is shipped with backpressure, no additional
priming is required if there is already
ink in the lines.
