ENCAD V/R Xpress™

This update will make changes to your
installed version of V/R Xpress that will enhance the performance,
quality and feature set of this powerful ENCAD RIP driver
software included with your CADJET® 3D.
What the update does:
This update of V/R Xpress adds
these new features to the powerful V/R Xpress RIP driver:
- Added a full Postscript Level 3 rasterizer.
This rasterizers supports PDF file printing.
- Added a rasterizer that allows the printing
of TIFF files directly from disk to the CadJet 3D. This
rasterizer supports TIFF v.6 uncompressed, LZW and CCITT
G4 compressed. The TIFF capability has been added to
the Print Image Files utility (printing files from disk
to printer).
- Added toner selection into the CADJET
3D profile to allow for grayscale printing.
- Added support for encrypted PDF files
and improved their processing speed.
In addition, the update of V/R
Xpress includes improvements to current features:
- Added paper sizes without margins and
improved the handling of customer paper sizes.
- Included modifications support for a
larger set of HPGL/2 commands.
- Changed the default halftone method to
"Pattern" and set improved gamma correction
values for each halftone method to provide better default
output on the CADJET 3D.
- Resolved an issue with printer hesitation
when using the Ink Reduction setting in the CADJET 3D
driver properties.
